The next international workshop is planned to take place in Stockholm just before the opening of the ITS World Congress on 21 September 2009.

The Netherlands have started with a large-scale operational test for several collision avoidance systems as well as a registration system for trucks. A total of 2550 trucks will make use of these systems for a period of eight months.

The first international workshop in the framework of the ERTICO-led FOT- Net project was successfully held on 20 November this year, after the ITS World Congress in New York. The workshop attracted more than 50 participants from Europe, US and Japan.
