Volvo cars showcasing euroFOT

About 100 Volvo V70 and XC70 cars, equipped with cameras and computers will test advanced driver assistance systems, in the framework of a large -scale European researh project called euroFOT. All to monitor the driver's behaviour in order to gain more knowledge about how we react as human beings in complex traffic situations.

 

The Volvo research project is part of the EU-project called EuroFOT (Field Operational Tests) where Volvo Cars, other actors from the automotive industry and SAFER at Chalmers University of Technology all are engaged...

Collision Avoidance Systems for Trucks in the Netherlands

The Netherlands have started with a large-scale operational test for several collision avoidance systems as well as a registration system for trucks. A total of 2550 trucks will make use of these systems for a period of eight months.

International Field Operational Test stakeholders meet in New York

The first international workshop in the framework of the ERTICO-led FOT- Net project was successfully held on 20 November this year, after the ITS World Congress in New York. The workshop attracted more than 50 participants from Europe, US and Japan.
