FOT-Net Data Protection Recommendations draft now available for comments

The Data Protection Recommendations is the first part to be released of the FOT-Net Data Sharing Framework, developed together with the stakeholders in FOT/NDS. It covers topics such as recommended data protection requirements for data centers and analysis sites, data classification for protection and data access methods. The document also incorporate references to the work done in the accident databases domain concerning data protection.

The Data Sharing Framework is based on inputs from stakeholders coming from various domains and reflects different views on how a data sharing framework should be set up to facilitate data sharing. These discussions will continue through-out the timeframe of the FOT-Net Data project, resulting in updates of the different parts of the framework.

We would therefore like to invite you to participate in the development. The next version of the data protection recommendations will be distributed in July. We would therefor like to have your comments and reflections on the document latest May, 31, 2015. The contact person is
