NetPort Science Park is an non-profit research organisation and a Triple Helix organisation, with the purpose is to increase cooperation between business, university and the public sector. This facilitates sustainable economic growth and development in and around the city of Karlshamn.

NetPort actively supports the development and dissemination of competence, business opportunities, education, research and other activities driving innovation. This is done primarily through initiating and participating in research projects together with local, national and international partners and financiers.  The goal is that these projects will  become a breeding ground for social development at different levels.

NetPort.Karlshamn has three committed owners – the municipality of Karlshamn, Blekinge Institute of Technology and the business community. They cooperate in many ways to achieve a single common goal: growth and community development.
